About
Madison DeVore is a reporter and photojournalist, currently based in NYC. She began her journalism journey at Eckerd College in St. Pete, FL, serving in various roles from an intern to online editor, managing editor and editor-in-chief. She freelanced at a weekly local newspaper in Gulfport, FL before heading to Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, where she is set to graduate in May of 2026 with a master’s degree in journalism.
She has written on immigration, religion, the environment and profiled many. She loves local reporting and photojournalism. She makes it her mission to capture emotion and the little details of the people who make stories.
