Photo Portfolio

Madison first picked up a camera as a kid, photographing everything around her, from flowers to family. During college, she took courses in film and digital photography. She made black and white film photos and learned the hands-on, delicate and intricate process of developing film strips and creating prints. With digital work, she learned a different style of making and editing creative pictures, from abstract to portrait work.
In graduate school, Madison found a passion for photojournalism. She’s photographed everything from events, such as the NYC marathon and the Veterans Day parade, to a local neighborhood and street portraits. Madison aims to capture mood, emotion and the little details in her photos — whether it be an individual’s expression or an image capturing the essence of what occurred.
